Can you buy the gauge package that comes standard in the MR form from the dealership and install it into a standard 2006 Evolution IX? If so where could I find a part number for it. I tried to search but couldn't really find the exact info I needed, thanks in advance.

Sure you can, but why would you want to? They are very expensive and the oil temp is probably not too easy to install. OTOH, you can probably get some very good aftermarket boost gauges and perhaps a A/F gauge or the temp gauge (or EGT) for the same price or less and get much better functionality. I have the factory gauges and they are cool and all that, but I would opt for after market if I needed gauges.

You can also get gauges from any of the vendors on this site. Do a search and you'll find some good deals.

Defi or autometer is what most people get. I like the DEFI, but they are more pricey than autometer. Just get an A-pillar to mount. Looks clean and can see them better when driving, than the factory.

Can get radio relocation kit to mount gauges higher (where radio is currently located), but still highly un-visable when driving.

To answer your question, I don't see why not. I would try the aftermarket route however, since you will getter better customer service from any vendor on here than MMNA, better quality, more functionality, and a company that may actually stand behind their products, unlike Mitsubishi. Some gauge will get stuck, and you'll bring it in for service, and get some voided warranty for some bs reason. I wouldn't put it past them.

If you like the stock look, these look good. They'll put any 3 in there you want.

Really no purpose for air fuel guage
Send 42 Draft Designs an email and see what they can do for you

Actually, the AF ratio gauge is very useful, particularly if you modify your engine at all. There is nothing as critical as the AF ratio (except perhaps the timing) to keep your car running safe. For instance if you had a reflash of some kind or some piggyback, you could easily run very lean during cold weather and break your pistons....
All gauges are useful, some more than others and some are invaluable if you modify your engine. You drive at your own risk if you modify and don't know whats happening in your engine....

A/F ratio is only beneficial if you have a wideband....The blinky light gauge is practically useless, In my turbo crx which im parting out I had the plx wideband m300 w/ the a/f gauge converter which displays the wideband readings on yur off the shelf a/f blinky light gauge, works great to help keep an eye on things and u also have the digital reading on the actual plx unit too that you can stash away in the glove box and only use when tuning is being done.

I never suggested a useless blinking light gauge...... BTW, there are some AF gauges out there that have some sort of buffer or other trickery that make the standard O2 sensor produce a somewhat useable readout...... Still, I only know that the wide band O2 sensor is the useable sensor to tune with and to keep an eye on your engine if you have modified/tuned closer to the edge.
