I live in Buffalo, NY(for now) and drove with about an inch on the ground the other day and it is not fun. Just as someone stated before, they feel like rocks until warmed up!

I just picked up some dunlop graspic ds2's just in time.

Do yourself a favor and go by a set of Blizzaks or equal winter tire. The $600 you spend will be alot less than the bill for putting your Evo in a ditch. Yes some people have gotten away without them in winter, but do you really want to take a chance?

He should be cool. It stopped snowing a couple hours ago and the roads should be in good shape for the evening drive home. Now for the ice that might start forming latter tonight, that's a different beast.

You'll be fine if you drive careful. I'm in Cincinnati also and I haven't had a chance to switch to my Sumitomos and winter wheels yet so I drove in the snow this morning on A032R's..which are an even worse tire in the cold/snow than the stock Advans!! Luckily most of the snow on the roads didn't stick. They are just wet except for the bridges. Be VERY careful when you go over a bridge.
