Evo VI beats the IX, but that wasn't too unexpected was it? Maybe they should have just kept manufacturing that model for 5 years.

I say if she stopped talking and payed more attention to driving she could of had better times, and its not fair to just do 1 run, I say do 5 with each car and take the fastest time.

I think it's BS: She was definately trying harder, and didn't talk as much while driving the VI. Probably subconciously she wanted to VI to win, which made her perform not as well with the IX.

 

Gee, maybe if the VI had to meet the same crash and emissions ratings the IX has to this thread would have a point.

 

If I recall correctly, Evo V RS is still the fastest around Tsukuba (1m04s+ lap); faster than current generation RS. Taken from Best Motoring by the way.

So I'm not all that surprised by this actually.

 

video so amazing. yeah that 6 looked super nimble compared to the 9. 9 had more power i think the car was more of a numbers car maybe? and they made it softer so more people would buy it? i dont know. i dont knwo that much but that video was great! never seen a stock evo driven like that.

 

Looks like she wanted the VI to win lol.
