Wow. WTF is Mitsu doing??? IX can't beat VI??? Maybe they should change the name from Evolution to Devolution

Anyway, thanks for the video. VI is definitely my favorite Evo... and I guess it still is the king of Evos

remember the evo vi had one of the largest turbos at the time. all in all it looks like the evos of today still have the punch.

Evo 9 is heavier and probably did not have the ACD/AYC set correctly, note the understeer on the last big hairpin. Still great though. That girl is awesome as well as the other hosts for Fifth Gear. Great show.

The 6 is so pretty. I would love to have one here in the states, you would get so much recognition.

Evo 1-3 are the lightest. Evo 4-6.5s (CP9A) are lighter than and sprung stiffer (30%) than the evo 7-9s (CT9A). She says that VIs were the first imports into the UK which is not really true. All Evos were brought in under SVA (UK version of grey market by independent importers) and very few were ever stock when delivered. Many were delivered with 320+ most seem to run catless as well.

So the lighter car wins. That is a nice VI though. Some day I would still like a TME.
