Agree with Paul....Also, sliding the car all over the place is not the fastest way around any course.

I think you would have a hard time finding a stock Evo VI in the UK. Those cars are five years old. That VI may well be making more hp than the FQ320. The VI is a smaller, lighter and more stiffly suspended.

A driver of Pauls caliber would drive both faster not just the IX. That the VI is faster than the IX is not that surprising. VBH is a pretty decent driver too.

True, drifting the car through the corners or pushig past the apex is not fast... But rotating the car to set up for an exit can actually be quicker -- the Evo seems to respond well to this

I thought I remember reading somewhere that with each successive Evolution model came improved times on Germany's fabled Nurburing course. I looked on the internet to find some support but typing in "Evo" and "Nurburing" nowadays yields 15 pages of Gran Turismo video game message board links.

Some of you guys are funny.. The half-second could be for many simple things like driver error or even wind against the first run. What I am trying to say that she could have farted or eat a sandwich (fat chick by the way) that could have slowed the 9.

On the track .5 sec is a driver or tire error

Could be even tire pressure..
