Does anyone know how many 2006 Evo IX MRs have been imported into the USA?

the 1000 number keeps floating around...

 

I have a IX WW MR, so the number is atleast 2 now...

 

My understanding from our Mitsubishi Corporate District Sales Manager is that there were only 1000 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR's made. They have been allocated to the dealerships already. I happen to have 3! LOL!

If the dealrship that you go to does not have an MR that is alright. The dealrship that i went to said that you can order your MR. I am ordering mine not this coming saturday but the next. You can then put all the extras that you want in it and color. If they dont have an MR you can always order yours. At least thats what the dealrship is doing for me.

wonder how long that'll take if its true? i've been waiting on on that the dealership already had allocated to them for almost 2 months now. they told me another 3 weeks. :\

 

They told me that it will take roughly 90 to 120 days, which is 3 to 4 months. It takes quite a while but that is the perfect time that i want to buy. So by march or april it will get here for me. Which is perfect.

 

1. any dealership will gladly hold your money for a "special-ordered" MR, or even that sweet new hovercar that's "just around the corner"....doesn't mean you'll ever get it if it's not available. they just love making interest on your money (for doing absolutely nothing) until you finally demand your money back.

2. there are no "extras" to put in an MR. in the US, the MR comes one (1) way from the factory, and 1 way only. you're just itching to get suckered, aren't you?

3. please learn to spell "dealership."

those are dealer-installed options. they are not ordered from the factory.

 

I want to see what these front corner air dams look like! I would like to order a set.

if i want an MR, i should go to the dealer today and order one because it will take about 2-3 months to come in???

i wanted to get a MR (or GSR, watever, i'll take anything at this point) in April/Mayish

Thats what they told me. But the guy above is saying that it is a rip off or something like that. They just want to get intrest off you, idk im just telling you what the they told me.
