evo drinks coolant
i found the leak...it's from a hose leading out of the oil cooler. it was leaking coolant, so it was either a return or receive hose for the oil cooler. it was leaking from the metal fitting attached to the hose. but the part costs $88..is that normal price for a coolant hose on an evo?? or is the dealer i spoke really high priced?
You could have a definet coolant leak or possibly a blown headgasket
have you removed you oil fill cap. I f you do and see a foamy or green look you most likely have a blown head gasket. My Evo is one of the first in the US and it never eats up coolant.I hope it's just a loose coolant hose or maybe a hole in one of them my friend had the coolant hose to his turbo leaking and it took a little while to diagnose. Best of Luck

i have the same thing every thousand miles i have to fill up the resovoir. no leaks anywhere. No oil in coolant, no coolant in oil, not even a drip on the ground, plugs are spotless......ideas???
my leak was found from a coolant hose coming from the oil cooler. u can see it on bottom right front side of the car. check that hose. look for a small drip on your driveway..I only saw a drop of coolant on the floor after i moved my car to check for the leak. it dripped onto the underfairing first then on the ground which might be why you can't really notice it.
