Watch out for gremlins, the 03-04 models have a misfire problem. The code is P0300 and mitsu offers a reflash of the ECU to fix this.

I have an 04 GSR which I just got reflashed by the dealer about three weeks ago. It is covered under warranty.

Thanks for advice on the misfire....I got the car for $25,000 at a dealer the started at $27,000. So its not the greatest deal but i feel good about it.....Plus it was one of the only ones in the Twin Cities that didn't have anything done to it as far as mods go! The car has 8,000 miles on it so it is fairly new...I feel pretty good driving the EVO since my last car was a 96 Honda Civic Hatch that had a bunch of suspension on it and big brakes. Again thanks for the advice I look foward to sharing some car smack with all of you!
