First time I saw an evo was basically the Evo VII on Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec...I fell in love right there. Then I remember watching the speed channel on late sunday nights and they would show the WRC and the Evo. Oh man. I fell in love. I cant afford the evo cause im 17 so i bought a 2003 Lancer OZ but that got totaled by some herb who ran a red and hit me. Now i drive a 99' DSM...oh man....I got the feeling of both worlds so far but no evo. Had the similar look of an Evo in the lancer, Now I have the evo motor in the eclipse. When I graduate college...I will surely by a used IX.

I don't know if it was the original Gran Turismo or Gran Turismo 2, but my college roomate and I played the **** out of it. If we couldn't remember whose turn it was to wash dishes, we'd go a couple laps on Grand Valley to settle it. If we couldn't remember whose turn it was to buy TP, we'd have a grudge match on Laguna Seca. He was always going with Vipers, Vettes, Mustangs or Camaros. I would go with Evos, STi's, GTO's, FTO's (when the hec is Mitsu gonna give us one of those BTW), Skylines, Chasers, S13's, etc.

Last summer I saw my old college roomate for the first time in about 3 years and the first thing he says when I pulled up is "dude you fricken scored a gran turismo car!!!". LMAO!

BTW...Capitol Mistubishi is still going strong consistently sucking the big one 3 years later.

The Evo was my choice car in the original Grand Turismo. I thought to myself "We really need this car here." I knew it was it was only a matter of time before the Evo came here when the WRX came. I think the first one I saw in person was Shiv's old RR one early on. He's also the 1st one I saw with a WRX if I remember correctly.

first time i saw one was in gran turismo also.

I read that they were coming out here, and when my wife was buying her eclipse i test drove one and loved it. Didn't get one until 2 years after that because of commitments and lack of equity to my previous car.

I had been reading about the Evolution cars for a long time and of course WRC. I always stopped to read about the car's functionality and all of its technical goodies, the AWD system, etc and thought it would be a sweet car to own. When I found out it was coming to the US I knew I had to get one, so here I am.

Boy, paying $45 for an avatar license is a bit steep, but at least I can use it now. I had no idea that I had to pay so many people to use the license for the avatar. Hope I can still afford gas for my car.

I forgot to ask if this was a yearly charge or if it was lifetime.

Ahh, the first time is something you never forget. I really love the car more and more each day. I keep the interior spotless and had to buy new floor mats because I have worn a hole under the clutch. I got the MR ones from Lancershop. Looks sharp and I keep putting the old one back when it is rainy or snowy outside. I just can't seem to get them dirty just yet. They look too nice.

My wife's car on the other hand looks like a waste dump exploded inside her car. Poor OZ rally. I think I will be the one to clean it out because each time I get a ride in her car, I think wtf? I won't even let her or my daughter eat much if anything in my car. I like it clean and new looking. The house on the other hand looks like toys-r-us blew up!
