drive on ramps
place oil catch container under car
open oil cap on head
remove drain plug & let oil run out into container
remove old filter
pre-lube new filter seal with new oil
install new filter
install drain plug
add 4.5 quarts of the oil of your choice to the fill cap on the head
close fill cap
back off ramps & run engine for a short while
check oil level
repeat step 9 (with less oil) if necessary

done

The only thing I dont like about using ramps is when you are draining the oil, because the car is on ramps at an angle, not all the old oil will drain out.

Jacking the car up, lowering it when draining the oil, then jacking it up again would be slightly better.

Just to help you out, go to the HOW TO section of the forums, and there is a step by step procedure with pics.

Umm, okay... I was hoping for more of a descriptive step by step. Like, do I need to completely remove the front deffuser, what size drain bolt? Please refrain from useless info

no need to remove anything to get access to the filter & plug. I believe the drain plug is a 17mm, but if you have a socket set its a simple trial and error process.

Check the How To's for more info

You have to be strong to take off that filter too. It was a pain in my A$$ to take that filter off. I used this special filter removing thing that looks like a lasso to take mines off.

I had to use a 19mm wrench to remove the drain plug/temp sensor. Overall a real simple oil change compared to my VW R32. Anyway, thanks for everyone input
