leasing

any body lease there evo's? i know its better to own one, but if it would end up being cheaper and more efficient to lease one for say 3 years, thats what im gonna do. so, does anybody lease there evos? if so, is it cheaper? easier? preferable replies from evo IX owners, but all answers are welcomed. thanks

Tom

theres no way leasing an evo is cheaper than financing it...i think youd be in the 600 a month range to lease...

If you do a lease you will not be able to live with yourself. I don't think they will allow you to do any mods and trust me you will want to.

I think Evol Edo is right, I'm pretty sure that you can't lease evo's.

well, not many mods will be done, because this is gonna be a family car. so, it might get a cold air intake at most. Only thing deffinetly aftermarket will be the stereo. I have a pioneer head unit, kenwood 1000w amp, and 2 Sony 12" Xplods going in. so, it will have some thump. but, thats about it.

mitsu doesnt want these cars back after 1 week, forget about 3 years.....the lease rates suck. it might save a few bucks. in two years of paying payments you will have positive equity in the evo though(they hold very high value) so financially it would make more sense to buy it.

i have a friend who was offered 23k by a dealer when he went in for a warranty repair on his seat. its an 03 with 50k+ on it... if you finance 30k(assuming you put down anything over 30k down) for five years at 5.9 you would owe 19,047 after two years, after three you would owe 13068, ur payment would be 579 a month btw

let me know(pm) if you need other numbers, ie. if you are financing 33, 234 at 6.9
