Please Welcome Me to the Club
Hey there! I've been a long time lurker here and I actually post a few times when I feel the need. I drove the Evo in 2003, when it first came out, and finally could not resist the great prices at South Coast Mitsu in Costa Mesa, CA. My present car was an '89 Mustang GT that I purchased NEW. (307,000 mi) Did I mention I have patience? I gave Mark M. a couple of calls the previous day and made my way to South Coast the following day (Mar 16). I mistakenly assumed he had the same work hours as previously and found myself at the dealership with more than two hours prior to his normal work day. Mark didn't seem to mind and arrived soon after to help me choose one of the five Wicked White Evo MR's available. Two others were already marked (Marked?) sold. While there, another guy arrived from San Francisco (flew in) to choose an Evo. I had a great time driving back to Palmdale and was lucky enough to miss a very large muffler in my lane (on I-405). Love that quick steering. The new Corvette owner behind me was not so lucky.
