How do I install washer LEDs with a switch?

Hey guys, I'm new here...do wish i have a evo, but I currently only own a civic, least it's new =D Well, I bought the windshield washer lights, but I want to install it using a toggle switch so I can turn it on/off whenever I want to without worrying about my parking lamps being on. There were no instructions to do this on that package, so I was wondering if any of u experts know?

I have the two leds' wires go into one wire, I got my toggle switch (SPDT) in my car with a a positive and negative wire coming out of the firewall, but how do I connect them? In what order do I connect them from? led wires to toggle switch wire, then toggle switch wire to parking lamp connector? Someone help me out...thanks

you just have to wire the power source for the lights and the lights into the switch.

on that note..what tha **** are you doing wasting your money on this? Washer lights? only thing they do is make you look like the worst of the worst...and on a civic nonetheless

LED positive ---> Toggle positive ---> Tap source
LED ground ---> Frame
Toggle ground ---> Frame

Your switch should have the following posts:

POS, NEG, ACCES

Pos= Positive Battery Connectino
NEG = Ground/Negative Part of Battery (also wire the Ground from the lights to this)
ACCES= Power from the accessory/light. Basically, this allows you to flip the switch and turn it on/off.

Or atleast, thats how i did a custom switch in my trunk. Would assume your led lights are the same for wiring, depending on your switch.

If you're just trying to get a rise out of someone, save us all the trouble and please don't post. You do with your car, he does with his. Let it be.

Hey, doesn't the civic have a better spraying nozzle than those led washers? They have this mist type spray that covers the whole window I really don't like those cheap ones that squirts like a water gun
