Nah, we know what it looks like.

However, welcome to the site and welcome to the Evo community. I see you have wasted no time getting some mods. What are sparks? And is that a K&N Typhoon or K&N drop-in? I hope it's the drop-in. Btw, you spelled Greddy wrong, so you might wanna fix that.

Oh, well that's good if you got JUST the cone filter, except that it only hurts you without a tune, so be sure to get tuned soon. Also, the IX gets no gains from an exhaust without a tune or MBC, because the ECU is so smart that it detunes the car by lowering the boost when it senses increased airflow. Get an MBC and a flash. AMS can flash you there at the shop, but if they're booked, you can get a Dynoflash through the mail or a custom tune when he shows up in Chicago in late May.

You really should not have taken out your expensive iridium plugs just to replace them with some random cheap plugs. Why did you do that? You also don't put plugs in your sig - they're not interesting or helpful. Just helping you out...

AMS will do an EcuTek flash, so you don't HAVE to get an MBC, but that's what most of us do so that we have direct control over our boost. The EcuTek can control your boost to some degree, but wherever it's set, it will be set for good without you being able to change it. I can tell you that an $85 MBC is a much better investment than that intake or BOV. Your stock BOV was excellent, so it's a shame you already bought a new one.

Congrats.

Get a tune and it will be a lot faster.

Also, can you answer why you changed spark plugs already???

Why? Because of the noise? The stock BOV makes tons of noise with an intake. It amazes me that people will replace a perfectly-working part by spending several hundred dollars only to use a part that's is no better just so that it can make noise.

You wouldn't want aftermarket plugs anyway. If you just got stock replacements, then they are the original Iridiums that are expensive and last a long time. YOu said they were cheap and had them in your sig as if they were an upgrade. Very strange...
