as they say you get what you pay for. I'd have a second thought before I would trust those gauges

i have seen the stewart warner. first, these gauges are much cheaper. second, they really match the amber color of the cluster.

But are they accurate..

If they are accurate, I'm in on the group buy.

Oil temp, oil press, water temp, and boost are the most important gauges you can have. Temp and boost gauges can save you alot of heartache in the long run if you plan on making upgrades to your car.

I have the EGT gauge, I like having gauges that monitor about everything that my vehicle is doing. If you tune your vehicle at all I would recommend an EGT gauge and a wide band O2 gauge with a digital readout is pretty important.

I also get in the habit of putting my vehicle on a dyno about every three months and logging everything, then I compare it to previous dyno results. A/F, HP, Boost, tq curve ect...
I am pretty **** about my vehicles though. I am going back up to Dyno4mance this week to dyno it again.

What about auto meter? They have been in the industry forever. They make good guages for resonable prices and have just about any style you could think of. And the Japanese tuners use them too so that must say something.

i have a prosport gauge and i was wondering also the same. has anyone had experience with these gauges? i had an autometer boost gauge and it read 13-14psi with boost turned all the way down. i installed the prosport, made sure the boost was still all the way down, and the prosport read 7-8 psi. i don't know which one is right. my motor is all stock, except, intake, exhaust, intercooler, flash. stock internals. i've heard that stock internals wont be able to hold 25psi. but i've always ran 25 psi according to my autometer. the prosport, i think might be reading more accurate, but i just don't see how a boost gauge can be 5-6 psi off. i don't know which gauge to trust. help..!
