How much HP will $6,000 buy?

I have an 05 EVO.
I have about 6g to spend, dont worry about install costs, I will do that my self.
The car is a daily driver.
What should I buy to get the fastest car possible for the money. And I already have brakes and suspension so please dont suggest that.

Thanks

Gt35r, and all that goes with that, injectors, fuel pump, manifold everything. Cams, alky injection, Aem fuel managment system. Then the basics. Exhaust, intake, intercooler cause the stock ones are garbage, and of course custom tune.

for a gt35r, do you need to build the motor, other than cams?

Yeah, get quote from Jarrod, and tell him what you want to do, the more you buy the more you save.

Cams are not related to building the motor.

Yes, call Buschur and get a GT35r kit with alky and cams.

not much over 400whp. If you are starting out from scratch you are going to need about $2000-2500 to get up to 350whp. Maybe a little more. Then the rest can go towards your turbo kit.

2000 will get you to 350 whp if not less look at Warrs qoutes the 4000 for a gt35r set up??? it will get him near the 500 hp at the crank range. Its just smart to rebuild the motor.

NNAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!! and save the other money for the honeys....hahaahhh!!!! just kidding.

seriously, contact a reputable tuner and talk it over with them. best advice-STICK WITH ONE TUNER AND THEIR PARTS to make your car the best you want it to be. DONT QUESTION YOUR TUNER EITHER. you will get poor service that way.

good luck.

not sure a 35r on the stock 2.0 is going to make for a good daily driver. I have heard spool up is around 5000??

Don't quote me on this, but I think itll spool around 4200-4500rpm on the 35r. Not too too bad. Deff woth the money. And as far streetable, define "streetable" all in the eye of the beholder.
