If you bought for the sound you will get flamed.

Hope you have your flame suit on.

No adjusting it only stiffens the spring. You want something louder got get an SSQV or a Type RS. Be warned though that once you VTA your gonna have issues. The car will buck when you let off the gas and your spark plugs are gonna go bad real quick.

I hope your bov is recirculating, if its not then you need to change it. If your that worried about how loud it is, then get an intake and have your car tuned.

Wait aren't you the guy who wants to get springs? A lot of ppl would consider that rice as well. But hey, don't get me wrong....I have springs, and I think they do a good job at handling what I throw at them. But if the guy wants a loud bov who the heck cares?

But to answer the original question....you can't really change the pitch of the valve. If you don't like it get somthin dif. Just search around and you will find one you like. And yes sometimes aftermarket bov/dv aren't known for their wonderful drivability.

I know what you can do, start by putting the stock bov back on. Then insert speakers under your hood connected to your ipod wich automatically plays the track psst in a deep manly voice, REALLY loude every time you shift! When my evo arrives, I intend to mike up the bov!!!

I am not flaming you, just read around here! there are tonns of useful information!
