First Mods On A IX MR???

I am planning on buying a IX MR shortly and wanted opinions on what my first $3000 in mods should be both for performance and interior bling. I am already planning on getting a set of Volk GT-N rims and Falken Azenis tires that isn't included in the $3000. Any suggestions, exhaust, coilovers, subframe bracing, gauges, etc?

Hmmmm well i would go with, MBC*, Alky injection, TBE*, LICP*, Intake, Vishnu IX flash, and TUNING! and for suspension depending if you want a hardXcore racing set-up or something simple for the streets i would go with some Tein S-Techs or the HKS Hipermax....as for " inrterior bling " im not sure would u would want/need besides mabey a set of DEFi gauges ( boost, oil-T, and EGt? http://www.gruppe-s.com/Evo/evoint/BFEvoPanel.jpg ) ...but first things first BREAK IN YOUR EVO PROPERLY!!!!!
*MBC-Manual Boost Controller
*TBE-turbo Back exhaust
*Lower Intercooler Pipe..........just in case u didnt know

find yourself a nice turbo back exhaust, and boost controller, fuel pump and tune. No need for an intake. The stock piece is very good for what it is and developed that way for a reason. Also maybe a set of cams. But depends on what your doing, is it a street car, or street/track/autox, or only track? If so maybe a rear sway bar. Stock suspension is very good from factory.

i know you want the volks but i recommend running the stock yokohama's untill they wear out. they are great tires much better then the azenis. i had the azenis on my viii and now there on my sc300 but those yoks are great on the road course. mine lasted about 5000 miles.

How much you willing to spend. Get a boost controller (either mbc or ebc)
The stock ECU tapes the boost so much that you will gain probably 20-30whp
Just by holding 21psi...

I have a few new parts left over from my '05 STi including a Blitz SBC i-Color and Tial 50mm BOV. I am assuming that I can use these with the MR. One more thing, what reflash are you guys most satisfied with? I jumped in early with my STi and got an EkuTeK reflash when I should have waited and got a Hydra EMS stand alone later when my performance mods warranted it. What I don't want to do here is replace mods with better mods when more knowledge and patience would have been the better choice.

I have $3000 now, more later. I'm looking for the best combination of street/strip. A noisier, rougher ride doesn't bother me in the pursuit of performance.

Several things that have been mentioned both here and in other threads are the replacing of intercooler pipes (both upper and lower) and the stock fuel pump. These are terms that are never spoken of on the STi forums as a fuel pump is only switched out if you're upgrading your turbo and of course the stock intercooler is top mounted. What is the shortcoming of the stock intercooler piping, id not big enough, composition, ??? Is a CAI something I'm going to end up replacing if I get a larger turbo down the road such as mass density or blow through?

yeah get a forge unos mbc, 3in buschur tbe, and a dynoflash or buschur flash, best bang for $. just like the others said look up warrtalon/buschur racing pakage. after that maybe licp, works mr short shift from mountain mitsu in tacoma/seattle since your in oregon. also from what I gathered don't hold 21psi on 92 octane..set at 21 psi peak in 3rd gear taper from there. also if your going to race save up for a clutch next like an exedy or act. also you'll probably want to option for 2 step launch control when you get your ecu flashed.
