mpg?????
I normally get between 21 and 24 with my MR. I'm stock. This last week though it dropped like a rock. The temperature rose about 20-25 degrees and I've been leaving the AC on all the time. Boy do turbos run like crap in the heat. lol.
Quick update... I got my best mpg to date... 24.4, about 95% freeway with the A/C on the entire time, usually going 80-85 mph, not even trying to get good gas mileage, I was passing cars left and right and downshifting a bit.
I travelled 300 kilometres (190 miles) on 45 litres (11.8 gallons), so I am getting
6.7 km per litre (16 mpg) .
light and easy throttle as car is under break in.
mileage is 500 km ( 310 miles)
below 3,500 rpm, city driving.
for Evo Wagon, auto trans, i'm from Singapore

Also, miles per tank mean jack-crap. No one here is filling it up to the top and running till completely empty. (If you ARE running the car to empty and having a tow truck take you to the nearest gas station, then I apologize
)AREITU's method of calculating MPG is correct and that's what everyone should be posting. (Although there will be a variance of when the gas nozzle actually clicks off)
~19-20mpg - spirited, non-highway driving (no A/C).
~23mpg - less spirited, non-highway driving (no A/C).
I don't know how well the car does on the highway, as I do my best to avoid going straight for extended periods.
