what should i do to make 400 wheel horse power miminum i have an 04evo 8 rs edition heres a list of things i already have done:



ENGINE

agp wastegate
k&n air intake
ngk spark plugs
msd wires i think
hks blow off valve
perrin short shifter
new brimbo calipers
hks catback exhaust<<waiting to get full exhaust until turbo upgrade>>>
turbo timer apexi
stage 3 clutch<< cant remember which type but it sucks its going out already and ive only had it less than3 months but its cause i was learning how to launch>>

try and full exhaust, boost controller, flash, cams and alch injection and you should be there

with this list you may be arond the 250 -260 range. with a flash! so.... the first thing you shuld do is : get a flash in your car.
that will make the car run much smoother and you will gain some HP too!


ok for you question! i will give you a couple options.

1=get some race fuel and crank the boost to 35 psi! that should do it!
2=strap a f16 turbine engine in the trunk of your car!
3= beg your whole family for donations so you can put a bigger turbo
4= ask SANTA to bring a GT35R turbo kit ..
5= kill some old ladies and take there money
6= become a hooker and save till you do more engine upgrades
7=sell girlscout cookies!
8=ask ***** wonka..

there i helped! trust me one of those will work! i did # 8 and i`m close to 400! i`m gonna see if i do # 5! i need a bigger turbo!

 

yup, a big fat turbo kit will do the trick

 

400 hp to the wheels is pushin it on the stock turbo(unless its a 9). BUT, you'd be looking at getting a flash for one, cams, turbo back(I went with AMS TBE, great quality/price/sound/and they'll make downpipes with their turbo kits that bolt up to their exhaust), mbc, and maybe alky if you really need it. Is 400 hp your final goal or do you plan to go higher later?

VTA BOV
aerodynamic stickers and vinyls
4 inch muffler
remove the backseat and replace it with a gigantic stereo
24 inch spinners

ull make serious power there

 

Drop-in filter, MBC, TBE, 50shot of nitrous

 

100 shot of nitrous with your boost controller maxed and no tuning with 87 octane gas. That will be one fiery Evo.

I would suggest

50 trim kit from AMS or Turbotrix
Plus all the basic bolt-on goodies: TBE,Cams,255 Fuel Pump,FMIC,etc (You need to do a search on this one)

Ok, I'm sorry, but if you write "brimbo" and "msd wires I think" and "perrin short shifter" as engine mods, you probably haven't a clue as to what you're doing. Especially if you have a stage 3 clutch and it's going out after 3 months. People like this need to read a lot more before they even think of adding mods to their Evo.

 

And we all know "look upgrades" or visual upgrades make for a good batch of 400whp.
