LOL not trying to be an *** but every car has bodyroll unless you put a heck of suspension performance parts on it
i never said it didnt have any body roll. i said it had the least out of any car ive driven. from galants and tiburons to cavaliers to F 150's. my g'fs ES handles the best hands down.
i was just confused as to why ud beef up the suspension on a slow car. thats like taking a car that doesnt run and putting nice rims on it first. it seems backwards to me. i woulda thought to make it faster to NEED more handling. just my opinion.
PS. sell it in CT, these highschoolers around here will believe anything, tell em its an EVO. they r convinced that a stock civic can run a 13 in the 1/4. lol

So it's not like I don't want any advice, I'm just trying to work with what I have available to me. I might end up selling the front strut and rear tie bars separately, but the trunk ones are staying, along with the other mods.

my 92 galant is the same way. for the 90HP it acually has it handles fine. if it was a 200HP car, id be screwed. the stock handling would suck. and ur acually using the suspension. this guy hasnt mentioned anything. we all assume he just daily drives it. seems like a waste of money, when he coulda used it all to make his car acually fast.
Actually, we ran the GTi in ES, and later in DSP after we upgraded the suspension. I drove the car daily for many years and still drive it at least once a week. Forget about power and concentrate on knowing how to balance the car. It's not about trying to setup the machine to some arbitrary standard; it's about getting the car to respond to specific inputs.
Please don't miss my point. Horsepower will only get you so far when it's time to turn the steering wheel and apply the brakes.

well i don't claim to be an expert car appraiser or anything, i just thought I would give the info that I just paid 6k even for a stock labrador black '02 lancer OZ with 81000 mi. on it in great condition with a recently replaced clutch. I probably could have gotten it a bit cheaper, but i bought it from a friend and wanted to settle on a price that kept both of us happy. i'd put an ad in the paper and see what kind of response you get, I know that when i was about to buy mine, there were only 2 or 3 in the Post Dispatch, so you might get lucky and find somebody who's got their heart set on your car. good luck with the sale
