IX VS IX MR mods

I've been reading in this forum, that the IX GSR or RS, take mods. better than the MR.

Would someone explain this to me please?

5spd vs. 6spd. that a 5spd. is better for modding than the 6spd.

Come on, now, how can a tranny affect how the engine takes to mods? That's ridiculous. You did not read anywhere that the MR benefits less from mods than the GSR/RS.

That comment is absolutely absurd. You probably read an article from someone very ignorant on this forum.

Autoplusmotosports from the Phillipines ran a 9 sec MR with stock tranny. Once you increase the power into the 400whp and up yea off course anything can break but internally and mechanically all Evos are the same except their trannys(5 speed and 6 speed) .

It is a mere speculation.
