In all countries Ive done months of research on sti an evo and the evo keeps coming out on top at the end by 2 cu*t hairs....Bottom line stock on stock the evo's turbo is stonger...it has a better 1/4 mile better 0 to 60 and better handling...all by cu*t hairs...so thats why I got the evo over the sti...I mean sh$t if the sti was better i would have gottin it!

 

mmmmmmm my buddy with the civic swears that evo runs high 13s - 13.8 while STI runs 13.1.... he thinks evo and srt4 runs the same...

If the STI ran better time than the EVO, i would have still bought an EVO.

I actually have one of the magazines in which the Evo 9 losses agaisnt the European 2.0l block STI. I got this magazine forwarded to me from another Evom member from Poland in exchange of other car magazine test I have on my archives.

That is the issue.. your buddy with a Honda Civic....

Off course an STI could run a 13.1 and a Evo 13.8 but that is very odd and normally does not happen. Statisticly and ironically is the other way around.

As per the SRT-4, that is even more odd, the SRT's perhaps trap a hair higher than a STI but definately they are not faster than the average Evos.

I have done too much of research, I have been to the track just about everytime they are open and despite I not always dragracing I do painstaking research of annotating every competitor track time on a notebook. I also take pictures at the track and off course I talk to each car owner in person and ask them questions about their mods.

My conclusions are 100 times more accurate than your friends Civic. You have to be present to witnesses things, you must talk to the owners of the cars to find out their mods otherwise the claims are not credible.
