i'm sorry to be the grandma but please be careful guys. those top speed runs are very dangerous. i guarantee that if you go to a road course and beat up on other cars you will have a new found respect for your car. 100 mph in a straight, slam on your brakes, shift, and then floor it into the next turn. everyone knows the top speed on the evo but trying to break you best lap time record or 1320 time is more fun and safer. thanks and be safe. you do not want to be that guy you read about in the paper or see on the news.

I've had my STi up to 150 with plenty of power to spare. I also had my MR up to 150 but it took longer to get there and it seemed to be running out of breath. I doubt it has much over 160 mph in it is stock form.

140 was the most out of my stock IX. It took for ever....
With a TBE and flash 160 was no problem.

I'm surprised to hear that.. I've not had my EVO to triple digits very much at all and certainly not to 140 or more. However, my old '96 Integra GSR with a JR supercharger got to 140 in absolutely no time once when I punched it. It was scary how quick it seemed to be getting there from 70 or 80. More interesting was that it seemed to have more power left. I let up on the pedal because I was not interested in trying for more....

REPORTEDLY 155mph but why does it matter its not like youll ever hit 150+; seriously like i never seen some hit more than 130 n a highway and thats for a shortened period of time; but for the race track i would never suspect anyone going on racetrack to top out thier car and possibly ruin it; but i may be wrong on that

Take your car to Nurburgring and there will be parts of the track/road that you can top almost any car out on.
I've done 154 on my srt-4 when it was stock, chasing down my friend in his 50trimed srt while he was racing a buddy of ours' Diablo roadster...btw which didn't last long after they actually took off .
Word of advice: If your chasing down a lambo at high speeds(120mph+), try not to be get close(if you can) to his back bumper as it will kick up so much dirt & debris off the road.

The "ring" is in Germany... I don't think you'll top out your car over there, but you might top out some kind of rental car....
