evo 9 top speed?

just curious what the top speed for an evo 9 is, or when the govenver kicks in?

Supposedly its 155mph, but I wouldn't know as I've never gone that fast in the first place.

didnt know it had a govener but than again i got tuned after breakin, i can vouch for 155 160, not to sure exactly was paying attention to the road that was of course on the track

I saw a video where they tested the IX and the MR. According to the video the IX had a top speed of 167 and the MR was 163 due to the added downforce from the Vortex diffusers.

was it best motoring. those are jdm versions.

wow do those stupid looking imo little fins do that much? Because if do im making some cardboard and duct tape ones immediately. Damn adding another 15whp would be nice.

Can you read? I said the IX did 167 and the MR did 163. In my world 163 is slower than 167. Why would you think the "shark fins" give you 15 hp?

I went into the 140s and still had room for more, and this is a RS. So it pretty safe to say that the EVO is a 155-165mph+ car. Not bad for a sedan aye! Isn't the STi/STI's top speed like around 145mph?

damn these top speeds are pretty surprising for a box.

keep in mind though the speedo reading isn't very accurate at that speed.....
