here we go again, before you post a thread like this, you might want to do a search. this topic have been beaten to death. Don't be surprise if you get some flaming. Anyway your stock box with a drop in would be the best.

Here we go again... it's posts like this one that **** up the Search function. Now someones gonna do a search for "*Evo IX intake*" and find thousands of threads that say search... this one now being added on top of it. If people would just search in the first place without asking obvious-*** questions, they would immediatly find what they're looking for.

^ it does suck when someone can't search. Post #4 hit it right on the head.

I saw the thread title and had a gut feeling this was coming from a newbie, I laugh everytime I read someone telling another to search.

Your stock intake box is perfectly fine until you get an aftermarket turbo. Just stick with a drop-in filter and you should be good.

+100

Unless you're making serious HP, you really dont need a different intake.

I have a K&N drop-in, Hallman MBC and downpipe with highflow cat which are not installed on the car yet.
It will be as soon as I get a flash though to get the most out of the tune.

For now my car is completely stock except for a cat back.

I had the MBC installed on the car but decided to back to stock until I get tuned for it.
