Weird Evo question

I dunno where to put this, but I assumed this would be a good of place as any.

I'm a pretty big guy, 6'1 220, and I fit into most seats pretty well...

BUT, I also have my concealed weapon licence, and carry a medium frame .380 on my right hip every day.

I'm wondering if there are any other people that carry, or LEO's that drive Evo's (hey..that rhymes) and have noticed the bolsters interfereing with anything.

Thanks a bunch, hope someone can answer

I bet there's bigger guys than you and they fit in the car w/ no problem. You should also think about building a special compartment for your weapon. Maybe on the side of the center console, would be good.

is there enough space on the drivers side inbetween the console and seat to mount a paddle style holster there?

when I carried my phone (almost as lethal as a pistol ) on my right hip or my wallet in my right front pocket or painter's shorts side pocket it was very annoying and uncomfortable. I clear my pockets before I sit down. I'm only 6' 190 and about 34" waist. I just put everything in the cup holders. You could definitely easily create a mount for the holster if you wanted it accessible. Like my Sirius radio is mounted to the side of the console... sorry if that's no help.

there's definitely not space directly between the seat and console, I can barely fit 2 cd cases stacked between there... my sat. is mounted more towards the dash part of the console.

that helps a bunch, thank you.

Were close to the same size, and a large cell phone on a hip holster is a good comparison.

I have a very difficult time sitting in the seat with my gunbelt on with all the crap on it, so now I take it off. As for off-duty, I had to change where I carry to the front/right, about 1 o'clock or so inside the pants and i had to downsize to a Glock 26 and a S&W 360PD.

GREAT info.

I cary a Bersa thunder .380 at about 2 o'clock normally, and that is almost the same size as your 26.

I also have a Kel-Tek P3AT that my GF got me for christmas that I use for pocket carry, I might need to make that my main carry weapon when I get the Evo.

Thanks a bunch

There is no stash box that can't be located with enough time, patience and a leatherman tool! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
