forsale or not for sale

ugh, i just got an evo ix. i have 4500 miles and i still love the car. heres the dilemma.. i will be attending law school in 2 years and the school will not allow any work hours over part-time. I did not know this until after purchasing the car. I am only 20 years old and there is no way i can afford it if i cant work full time anymore.

if i sell what is a fair price to ask.. say on autotrader.
i owe about 31000 dollars.
how much would a dealership trade for? realistically. kbb says 27000 for a 2005.
the car is like brand new of course.
i dont want to get rid of the car... but i could buy one easy after i graduate.

If you are going to be a lawyer at least be a good one and learn to lie.

you have 2 years to attend law school. enjoy evo while you can for next 2 years.
BTW, which law school you trying to get in? I haven't heard anything about school not allowing any work hours over part time for students. Many people that I know actually attend law school at night and work during daytime as full time.

Actually you don't know my story. I can afford school because my gparents will has me down for 100 thousand dollars. This will pay for my school. I don't want them to pass away, I'd rather pay myself.

Do you know what people coming out of law school make? if they go into the private sector its around $125,000 a year... obviously you would make less in the public sector, but still good money either way.

No. More income after school, say $7-$10k starting, means wayyy lower debt to income ratio, makes a $500 car payment pretty manageable. Even with student loans, since they are paid off over 30 years dumbo.
