No, because what's going to push the air through the intercooler? If you are interested in turbos, go read the book by Corky Bell. It covers a lot of information people new to forced induction.

That would be a collosal waste of money, time and efficiency.

Intercoolers are NOT intakes. They're essentially big heatsinks like on your computer's CPU. They allow air to pass across their surface and cool the air inside them.

If you were to do this and try to make it functional you'd have to use the inlet end of the IC as an intake and the other end plumbed to the MAS and then TB. The whole purpose is to cool the compressed intake air in a turbo system because pressure causes increased heat. In this case the intake air would be about the same temp as the ambeint air, making the intercooler completely useless.

To sum it up: Huge waste of money.

You guys forgot the mention the key element.. Its going to be a huge restriction on a normally aspirated engine.. It takes the energy of the compressor to force the air through it.. If the engine were sucking the air through, you'd be using power to do nothing useful... The advantage of the Intercooler on a turbo is it provides more surface area than the intake piping to shed heat (and therefore allow more air to be compressed since colder air is more dense, more air in the engine potentially means more power) Intercoolers are a balance between the amount of benefit it provides, and the amount of energy required for it to function.. You will be much better off with some sort of eficient fresh air system that draws and forces cool air into the engine.. The effects arent dramatic, but it works.

And I just noticed someone posted some info that repeats what I just typed.. When the heck do I finally evolve?? hehe..
