1/4 mile on stock clutch
man thes are good times on stocker...im askin you guys this cause when I practic my lanching my clutch just gives off a nasty oder and then it like skips into gear....its weird!
Lol yeah man stop frying your clutch, a couple good fries and its shot
Clutch smoke smells that absolute worst, and it sucks when it stays with you for a while so everytime you start to drive you smell it again
Anyways I've ran a 13.04, stock IX MR with stock clutch of course, pretty dang good for a stock clutch, just learn how to launch it properly without frying your clutch, because its an expensive bad habit

I think the key to the stock clutch is not trying to get an insane 60ft.
There are a bunch of people with lots of power running the stock clutch, the thing is they don't drag race. If you manage to get a great launch style down or at least one that doesn't slip the crap out of the clutch (glaze it), you will probably be ok.
The stock clutch does deserve more credit than it gets, I couldn't say that I know anything about the stock disc, but the pressure plate is 2200 pound pressure plate which is pretty stout
Lots of people have fried their clutches by learning how to launch. Every other car I've ever launched is also much easier than the stock evo.
