I have dynoflash mail-in flash and I love it. Reliable, simple, cheap and in my opinion the best performance for the buck. Some friends are runing same times but with more expensive budgets (ECUTEKflash).

Check Evo9grl signature for details.

I got a TTM Dynoflash tune... no complaints whatsoever. The car felt MUCH stronger after putting the tuned ECU back in. Like it's been said before, best bang for the buck.

Vishnu, from what I have gathered on this leans the map a little on the unsafe side? Is that true? I want something that will be safe everyday. I do not want to do anything myself. I may in the future if arises get a custom tune. However, that will only be if i can find a dyno and tuner that will be close by in a timeframe that is good for me.

Right now, I just want a good flash "through the mail" to go with my turboback.
This is very untrue as Shiv pointed out. Vishnu is one of the safest tuners to go with IMO and from everything Ive seen and read. Granted, there are many other quality tuners out there, Shiv is able to make great power and keep the car completely safe.

A custom tune will yield more powerful and safer results. And in the long run it would most likely be even more cost effective. A "through the mail" flash may work great on one car but absolutely horrible on another. I always try to tell people to spend the money on a quality custom tune once and then they wont have to worry about a mail in flash not work 100% with their car. Good luck either way

Well, I do have the option of getting a custom tune by Doug at Topspeed. Just haven't made up my freakin mind yet.

Fair enough that you havent made up your mind, but I hope your not jumping down my throat for trying to help you. In the end its your decision, all I can do is provide you with information that I know and experiences Ive had.

One thing I hate to read is when people have a bad experience with their car. I do my best to help people make an informed decision to avoid any potential problems as best I can.

Same here. One of my WRX buddies sent me a link to a videotaped interview with one of the guys from Cobb, he said it should be out pretty soon and that it's pretty much as good as any other reflash in terms of gains, but with the flexibility of the AccessPort (like ability to switch maps, download new ones off the internet, etc.)

i dunno about toher tunes. But after my Vishnu tune by Shiv, my car ran smoother. Like first gear start ups were smoother and shifts were smoother. Only thing that makes it tough for me to give Shiv business is that he's so far away and I work Mon-Fri. But he still made time for my tune on a Saturday.

Dude you're really lucky because you're close to a GREAT tuning shop, Dyno4mance which is in Calhoun I believe. I recommend getting a custom ecutek dyno tune and a catless turboback exhaust, and maybe a intake/filter, LICP and o2 housing. You're looking at about 300whp/tq. on a very conservative dyno (340-360whp on a dynojet)

Just Curious, if your in South Jersey, HOW did you get a Custom Tune by Shiv???
FLY your car out there??

I'm not far from you, Reading PA., and it looks like short of driving 4 hours to Milford Conneticut and DynoFlash, there are NO good tuners in our neckof the woods!!!!!
