Test Driving Some Evos Tomorrow

My girlfriend is looking for a car, so I convinced her that she wants an Evo. We're going to take some 2003's for test drives tomorrow. I've always loved these cars, but my car keeps my happy enough that I never got one. Finding out my girlfriend wants one was the best news I have heard in a while.

I'm looking forward to posting here in the future.

you'll want one too when you discover the evo is faster and handles better.

I love the Evo, that is why I convinced my girlfriend to get one. Faster and better handling? I have seen timeslips on an S54 that show 12.7 second quarter miles, stock.

Handling, I can't say, but the M Coupe is no slouch...

Either way, I'm excited for her to pick one out.

M-coupe as a drag racer. I need to stay away from the boards. :-(

There's quite a bit more to speed than straight line acceleration, although one wouldn't necessarily know it by reading this thread.

oh i know...i totally agree...which is why i think drag racing is dumb and for rednecks. but since everyone here was bragging about how fast E46's trap..i figured i'd chime in with how fast STi's and Evo's trap at half the cost.

Who the hell said I had an E46? I have an M Coupe.... based off the Z3 chassis with the E46 M3 motor.

And did I ever say I took my Coupe to the strip or used it as a drag car?

I have done some canyon running with some Evo guys that were really cool (and very good drivers) but I guess the majority of you really do fit the stereotype.

Wow guys great way of welcoming a new member....

That the 1 reason is why I left the Evo forums and forgot about getting a Evo.

You can't be "a stereotype".

I came here to introduce myself, not start **** with a bunch of immature kids.

Maybe I will head over to LancerRegister.com... I hear they attract more than 19 year old highschool kids.
