i think it's 50. talk to a mod, they might help you out. (or here's a trick, put up the item for sale in your signature and just tell people to PM you. but don't tell the mods i told you that. it's a loophole.)

50 posts that are on topic and preferably something useful. in other words you can't go into the off-topic forum, because nothing counts there (that place is so dark and scary anyhow) and you can't ***** your way to 50 posts by making a lot of worthless or repetitive threads.

you have to earn your right to sell things here. i think those who run the site (and i agree with them on this) don't want the for sale forum to become a dumping ground for anyone and everyone, especially to reduce the possibility of scammers.
