If you have a credit card and have been able to establish some sort of credit rating, you should be ok. I actually got a loan before I even started my job. That was after graduating college and I had a few credit cards that my parents would pay off while I was in school. Oh and just by doing that I had am A+ credit rating and didn't even need a cosigner.

In that case it just depends on the cosigners credit, but they will still want to know where you work and how much you make. I don't think it would be a big deal that you have only been there for 2 months. Just be sure that you like your job and that you want to be there for a while, cuz your gonna have a $500+ car payment and $200+ insurance each month for the next 5 years. ( note: those are conservative estimates)

Well there's stipulations to everything. Sure you got a job, congrats, but what's the pay? It can be a fast food joint making base pay compared to an executive position making over $12/hr! Your credit and how much credit you've established comes into play...sometimes a co-signer doesn't help in some instances. Also would depend on how much the car is, the rate they give you (which depends on the credit), and how much you plan on putting down.

Those numbers posted up above by onefast4dr are conservative if you're not prepared. I've heard of worse numbers. Good luck though.
