This happened in california, san diego. I was at a friend house, we were going to go eat, one of them drive a Audi S4, Integra, Hatch, and i am driving a Evo. We pulled out to a street called camino Ruiz, i was the last one to turn the light was green and i turned steady, then as i was driving i accelerated on 1st to 4-5k rpm to catch up i was approximately doing around 30mph, infront of me there was the Audi S4, Right beside the Audi there was a hatch, and infront of the Audi there was another hatch, The hatch infront of the audi floored it it made plenty of sounds(2 lane street), next thing i look in my rear mirrior there was a cop with the ligths on pulling me over. I pulled over and the basic lala, He told me that i speed on the 90 degree turn and burning out while i was turning(First i think to myself, ok 4wd burning out on a turn doing 15mph...) then i was going to argue with him, but then my passenger knocked on my hand and told me its useless, Told me to pop the hood to see for illegal modifacation, i told him k&n filter was it, he was like its illegal i told him i purchase it like that and its just a filter that replace the old one. The audi infront of me was doing 35mph at max, he citied me down for doing 45mph on a 40mph street limit... Citited me down for having a passenger because i didnt have my license for full year, i didnt want to argue with him because it was pointless and i told him i know, but the truth is, the DMV rules changes when i got my license saying that you have to have 6 month of driving before transporting passenger, which they changed to 1year, also cited me down for no front plate. And lastely not wearing my glasses, i dont even need it. Base on my knowledge i didnt do anything wrong except accelerating, i need your guys help on this one on what to do, i am 16.

Just checked on my back of my license, stated that First 6 months of license issuance may not transport passengers under age 20. Therefor, they're wrong about me transporting passenger.

 

1 year between midnight and 6am u cannot transport passangers

 

This happen during 9pm

 

Dude, you need to move out of california...I have never seen more ridiculous laws anywhere...Another thing...never be afraid to argue with a pig...You have to defend yourself, especially if you've done nothing wrong. He said that you did a burnout????i would have been all over him man...your car is 4wd, and u said nothing???...Come on dude...

Did you ask him how he was enjoying his first week of being an assh*le? Sounds like he is new to the big head club of CA.... Just get a lawyer and make him look stupid. Go back to that spot and take pictures where you were pulled over and right before you were stopped and make sure the camera has a date stamped to the pictue you took so you can prove there are no marks.

And if need be.. also have the other two people show up in court stating they werent even speeding and they were within a few car lenghts in front of you.

You will not be getting a single fine.

You should have a reasonable chance to beat the 22350. Try a Trial by Declaration if you can (unless you have a mandatory court appearance). 22350 means you were traveling at an unsafe speed, so just argue that your speed was safe. How did he obtain your speed -- if it was radar (or laser I think), he needs to produce a radar traffic survey or the speed evidence is thrown out. If he "paced" you, that should be easy to get thrown out -- sounds like he didn't have enough distance to really pace you. Argue that he basically cited you for revving to 5000 RPM, and although that may be a bit unusual, it's not illegal.

The other two violations, you're probably on the hook for those, but I'm guessing that neither of them carries any points.

You need to challenge this ticket. Go to court. have some fun. Not every day we get to prove a cop wrong and not have to lie about it. haha

 

He was estimating my speed, i was going to argue with him, but an *** like him we'll cuff me, i am going to talk to my neibor police officer hes pretty cool, i was stil under the speed limit, i did not do anything wrong, only thing he should citeme down is for not having a front license plate.

 

16 year old driving evo = trouble waiting to happen.

Good luck with the ticket, your best bet is to get a lawyer for your first ticket, then you can go to court and see how fighting it done.

It will probably be the first ticket of many, partly because cops love to pull over young kids driving fast cars. Goodluck

 

Right when i was going to fight back and argue he would raise his voice and my passenger( a girl) would hit my arm and tell me its useless agiesnt these kind of guys and tell me to take it out later in court.

 

man don't be afraid of arguing with him cuz most of the time, if he feels like giving you a ticket right at that moment, believe me he is going to give you one no matter how innocent you may look. I have argued with cops many times and the times when I argued = 0 tickets, but when I didn't argue= a ticket or 2. plus if you argue, he may rethink the whole situation and give u a warning or a weaker ticket that takes off just 1-3 points.

Edit: Just don't let your anger get the worse out of you. Calm down, think, and then tell the officer what you have to say.
