would you by MR off showroom floor?
would you by MR off showroom floor?
I know I am being **** but a couple of dealerships have 06 evo MR on showroom floor with low miles . On a busy Saturday I watched people get in and out of the car and play around with the shifter etc.
I know it would not make a difference for a Buick Lucerne or a Caddy Deville.
I have decided to buy an MR (in large part because of this forum- one of the best). I want it now but could wait .
So, with excuses for my analness (?word) what are the downsides, if any, of buying off the floor? Any damage to shifter etc.?
Thanks

Family Mitsubishi in Indy (fishers) has all color MR's, 10 miles TOPS, and they leave the DOORS LOCKED!!! Just for they dont want anyone sitting in them or test driving them. I personally wouldn't care. what is "low miles?"
when I got mine I saw it a month and half ago go into the showroom and when I got it 2 weeks ago it didn't move one inch 2 miles on the odometer. I would rather get one that has not beed drivin at all. but thats just me.

I'd probably get it...of course I would make sure everything looks good on the exterior/interior. Hell you should try to get a discount out of it since its on the floor. Haha, it's worth a try!
I first sat in MY evo in jan of 2005 in boston mass in the showroom. I finally bought my evo in august 05 here in NJ and had to get my evo from boston. When it arrived I did my research and it was the same exact car i sat in earlier that year, and it still had only 5 miles on it. Point is, I never had a problem with my car, and it was the longest I ever heard of an Evo being on the showroom floor.
Just buy the 10-miler. 60 miles? Well, you can do some serious damage in 60 miles. 60 miles means two, maybe three test drives (or some sales manager flogging it for an hour or so). 10 miles probably means no test drives.
