I'm running a Buschur TBE and Apexi Intake. I guess I just didn't tighten them enough, was a little nervous about breaking things. I'm going to build me a kit with all the tools necessary to fix a blown hose if it happens again. I have heard the trick about hairspray (or spraypaint), good idea.

Why Do you have to measure the pipe, aren't tbolt clamps sold in a kit for Evos.
Hairspray causes the rubber in the pipe to stick to the intake. It will cause enough friction along with the clamp to keep the pipe from slipping off. We use this tecnique a lot in bicycle racing for carbon fiber seatposts. Without the hairspray the post will slip while you are riding. You can't torque the clamp too much because it will break the carbon post. I have never had one slip at all while using hairspray in over 10,000 miles.
