Looking to Get an Evo [Boston Area]
I have wanted an Evo for some time and I am nearing the point where I can finally get one.
The problem is, it won't be till early 2007 until I will be in a position financially to get one. I have read countless threads and websites and it seems nobody is really sure about 2007 IX's in the US. I have a bit left on my Focus SVT to pay off, among a few other things.
I am not expecting anyone to have some magic be all end all solution for me but what would you do in this situation? I can almost taste the Evo but.. will they skip a year? Would you risk further debt to get an 06'?!
Finally does anyone have any reccomendations for a dealership in the Boston/North Shore area? (or southern NH)

I was afraid someone would say that
I'm afraid to hold out hope for the 2007 people don't seem to think there will be one
What is the deal with the 2006's and the SE's are they still rolling in? Or are the last of them at the dealerships.

The X may look like crap, but the design may well grow on everyone after it's been out for a little while... tends to happen with newer, more "modern" designs... whether the performance and potential will compare to the CT9A platform remains to be seen.
It never hurts to wait on a car purchase...if you can stand to drive your SVT a little longer, you won't lose financially... and there will always be used IX's for sale if you choose to go that way

some dealers have an online inventory. You can always keep an eye on it. Jump on it if you think you can do it then.
South Coast here in So Cal has that so it's easy to see what they have.

Well you may get lucky and still find some! They just released the IX special edition (alum roof, polished bbs wheels, different front lip, and full leather recaros with red stiching they look nice!) so I am sure that there will have to be some around! Theres 3 months tell 07 so I bet you can find what you want....
