What voids warranties?
I do know that the dealers that sell the BR cars will still warranty the car aslong as there is no signs of abuse?. My interpretation of what I have read is that the BR modifications are proven to not effect the reliability of the car at all and unless there is abuse present then the warranty is still valid and parts will be covered. You def. cant install a mbc, or cat/test pipe, thats why on his BR cars they have a 2.5" dp because he cant touch the factory convertor....
My understanding is stock or lightly modified like the BR cars show any type of abuse then the warranty will be void either way because no warranty covers abuse, only defects....
So im sure you could maybe stay in the lines of the BR330, BR350 kits and still be ok...again this is my interpretation from reading different threads
I would say talk to your dealer and see what they say?

Depends what dealership you go to, around me if you do something as simple as an intake or exhaust they wont look at something that has nothing to do with that, i.e. I upgrade my exhaust and my suspension is funky, they wont look at the suspsion because i have an upgraded exhaust.
driving voids warranties
starring at the car
thinking about the car
starting the car
not parking in garage
parking too close to other cars
using trunk
letting some1 else wash it
just a few so ya get the idea....so ur best bet is to just sell it back so you dont have any problems..
good luck with ur decision

Basically read and understand the Magnussen-Moss Act. This will help you have the upper hand on the dealership since almost none of them know about it.
This is how I had my TC replaced and tranny rebuilt. Good luck... keep modding

The dealer will forward the warrenty work over to BR if any problems occur because of his parts, as far Medina Mitsubishi goes.
I would say about 85-90% 0f all the posts here are Bravo Sierra! When my F250 superduty was still under warranty, I bought AM parts from the dealer and was told were to get it chipped. When I saked about voiding the warranty, he said they have to prove that what you did caused the failure.
So far I've had my car to the dealer twice under warranty ( bad oil line & a faulty starter). I told them what kind of person I was in regards to my vehicles and that I bought the car to be driven but take very good care of it. I told them about all the horror stories floating arround the web, they basically said that unless they see abuse, or something that could have directly caused the problem, they can't void the warranty. 1st time my car had a MBC,full 3" exhaust , intake, GFB BOV, 255 fuel pump (you can hear it)& custom tune. 2nd time I had installed MR o2 housing, MR headers, AEM wideband & very noticable cams. They never said a word, no voiding, nothing, why they even provided rental vehicles both times and detailed my car too!

Here in S.FL. Same one I bought the car from. However, they do have some very decent people working there, so that definately helps. I also think a lot has to do with how you present yourself. I go in there wearing my beret and eye patch with my 1911 sticking out of my pants! Just kidding!! LOL cerealy though, If you come across professional, respectful and firm, don't act like a little kid or they owe you something, then most places are going to treat you decently. Besides, they want warranty work for the most part, they can get full mark up on P&L (my friend who manages a GM service center told me as much) as long as it's legit. If you did too many donuts, launches or otherwise trashed your car, then yeah you'll likely have an issue.

My own take is that the specific issue needs to be directly related to any aftermarket modification in order to deny a warranty claim - also this happens to be the law
Sadly, they can just void your warranty and most peopel can not afford laywers to complain
The bottom line - all of this is short sighted by
as it puts a real sour tatse in people's mouth Companies like Toyota who bend over backwards to do what ever it takes to satisfy the customers have developed amazing reputations and loyal follow up repeat sales
As an example - back in the day I owned a Mercedes SL600 with a Renntech exhuast, intake ecu chip.
Even though I blew out two tranmissions and a hydrolic suspension activator and a few other minor problems - everything was covered 100% under warranty no questions asked what so ever of any kind. When I moved into Subarus back in 2001 the concept of a dealer voiding a warranty on a sports or performance car for performance upgrades was alien to me.
I have seen a customer have his Subaru warranty voided due to installation of a turbo timer.

I love every minute of it too. Parts are so readily available and stock sucks anyway.
