Anyone know of any dealers in NJ that are mod friendly? I was look for cars at Cherry Hill Mitsu and the guys there were telling me that, they let people with exhaust and tunes come through. Don't know if that was BS or not. But any place in the area you guys recomend?

Anyone know about using Mitsi parts from the European FQ cars (up to 400 crank hp) and how that affects warranties?
I'm thinking that if its an official Mitsi part, they would struggle to deny the warranty. Surely this opens up (limited and expensive) tuning to those who worry about warranties.

This is what my dealer told me:

I was told intake and exhaust were OK. Putting any oil besides mobile one will void the warranty. An ecu flash will also void it.

when the car goes in and they take it apart they will see what went wrong. defects are covered, abuse is not. If there is any question they go to the regional Mitsu rep and he makes the final descision.

The EVO is practically bulletproof if it is driven properly as a street car. Its not meant for drag launches and the warranty isn't meant to cover race cars so if you track the car it will obviously break or wear sooner. If they take it apart and there are teeth broken off the gears and stuff like that they will know what happened. If its a manufacturing defect it will be covered.
