Just got my New IX MR!!

Hey Everyone,
Just picked up my IX MR. I am an Audi convert (just got rid of my 2005.5 S4). Performance is amazing (even though I haven't wrung it out yet). Agility blows away the S4. I'm looking to do a custom tune in the near future. I have about $2500 to drop. Has anyone dealt with Payn Technologies (Troy , Mi)? I don't trust the testimonials from their own website. I just don't want to $#%^$% up a new car.
Thanks!

as of tuning im not sure of who to go with up there but mods wise i would do a turbo back exaust-any brand will work- blitz drop in filter, and a hallman rx pro manual boost controller.

Congrats!! how many miles have you added already? I'd like to see your detailed take on the comparison between S4 and Evo. I guess better wait till it's broken in before you do that.

I got the car with 25 miles. Currently, I've got about 500.

Congraluations! I would hesitate before modding such a new car. Mine is still bone stock. However, if you're going to do it, may I suggest the Buscher Stage 1? It sounds like a great value to me.

Car and Driver took their 2003 long-term test Evo to Payn to be modded.

HOLY COW!! damn I thought I was the only person that made such a switch... I had both used b5 and b6 S4 (2yr and 1yr of ownership). This car is totally different from the two yet giving you the need for speed you crave.

As for mod, enjoy the car for now. do a turboback first, you'll see the car change it's personality.. then once you get used to it, go for the flash and intake. That should be a lot faster than my stg2+ s4.

Be careful with the car, I see a lot of post about ppl crashing it and flipping them. The steering is very sensitive and requires a lot of getting use too

Good Luck!!
