I purchased HKS SSQV BOV and it came with unsuitable plug that cant even block off my air recirculation. I put the clamp and tape on; it pops out like a champagne! on New Jersey Turnpike. GOD!!


Any one knows any good blanking plug or where can I purchase it? LET ME KNOW.. send me pm with the link!!! I need longer adapter or somethin!

 

Why does it pop out? I have seen people use carb cleaner caps from autozone and it has held for months, There is no pressure there.

What is wrong with it?

 

It holds high boost well, works well on my Evo IX, no stalling issues.

 

i had the same problem they gave me some piece of s*&t plug and whats i hit boost it popped out you have to find something us that will go further in your intake or recirculate it i have mine recirculating and it works fine plus it doesnt run good atomspheric.

you need hks alminuim adapter and have it costumized with bov on the stock pipe ssqv or get v2 ssqv kit i have it costumized its ok so far.
