Hmmmm, I hope I didn't mess up here.

I bought K&N yesterday, just the filter, but now I'm reading that just changing the intake filter might make me lose power?????

If you bought a K&N air filter that is a drop-in replacement for the stock one, I think you'll be fine. Don't quote me on this, but from what I remember reading, it's aftermarket intake systems (with new piping and the semisphere-shaped intake filter element) that tend to have questionable gains unless the ECU is reflashed with parameters accounting for such aftermarket parts.

Katie, I hate to be the neighborhood Grinch, but I have to say this. Please don't wear the flip-flops when you drive for your own safety, and for everyone else on the roads we all share. They can create a very dangerous scenario by being caught in the floor mat/carpeting/pedals and greatly limit your ability to control the vehicle. Good luck to you!

Congratulations! I'm not sure I care about the flip-flops just don't drive talking on your cell phone - the Evo tranny will keep you busy.

Some of you guys are sad. She introduced herself around two weeks ago, then the thread died down within a few days, and she just recently posted with a question about an intake, and now you guys all get back to leg-humping, completely ignoring the current topic at hand? Two weeks late, I might add. Try doing more than reading the thread title and looking through the attached pictures of only the first post next time around.

It's ok, this isn't my first forum experience, so I knew what to expect. lol

EVO8URV8, what do you mean yours is SSL? Looks like I have a lot to learn.

cj98, no big plans, need to get the windows tinted and an alarm...then probably get XM. I love my music. lol

Rguy, I have tried out the backseat, but I'm not tellin how.

Oh, I almost forgot the flipflop thing. I take them off when I drive. And I have bluetooth, so I can keep a hand on the wheel and a hand on the stick.
