Hey guys.....as the date to purchasing my brand new 06'evo IX mr comes closer,im getting more curious,lol.I have a question which is stupid i know so dont flame me for this.I was wondering if in anyway the sound system from the original IX is on the MR edition? because i wanted the six gears n the springs n shocks but i also want the sound system......any suggestion? thanks again for all your help through-out this month!

 

The sound system is garbage from what I hear. I wouldn't worry bout it.
Also, the dealer will probably charge you alot more then it would cost to go to your local car audio installer and get a nice system that would hit harder.

 

People usually don't buy an EVO for the sound system.

 

yea i know its all performance n stuff,but i like to have a little entertainment too n some kicks

 

Get some good speakers, some adapters for the stock wiring, a new head unit, head unit harness adapter, and an infinity basslink. That'll be plenty unless you're looking for really high end stuff.
