as far as being sponsored...fix your car up more and then fix your car up even more!

email...email...email...calls...calls...calls...an d buy there products...bad thing about being sponsored is you have to spend a butt load of money...unless you have friends w/ shops...that can hook you up...be ready to blow the dough if you want top notch companies to hook you up...and most major companies you must committ to being at certain events and things like that...

give them something that is origional and will draw people to your car and the sponcor...givin...your car isn't a civic but still no one wants to see a "cookie cutter"car that they can see on the road of any big city

you need to get a lot done first then make a proposal that shows what youve done, and what you plan to do in the future, and what shows and everything you will be attending

The best way is to present a proposal to the sponsor showing what you can do for them. I race in SCCA and I have a body shop sponsor. Their graphics are on my racecar. I refer them to other racers all the time, and this generates biusiness for them.

Step #1: You're looking for them, they're not looking for you. So go look.

Step #2: Moving to the Newbie Forum.

I currently have 2 sponsors and am working on a third one now.Pretty much the deal is:
1) You have to have a car that is not a common car (our Lancers)
2) You MUST have all around modifications on the car, which includes interior, exterior, suspension, I.C.E, and engine.
3) You must give whoever you are going to try to get to sponsor you one hell of a reason why they should invest there money in you and your vehicle. You have to show them that they are going to get something in return for theor services and discounts.
4) Have a **** load of dough to blow on their products if you are chosen to be sponsored.

Me and my entire club (Twizted Dreamz) and I are fully sponsored by 2: Sign Techniques (signtechniques.net) and E&S Performance (eandsperformance.com) and I am tryin pretty hard to get Tenzo to give us a sponsorship (my proposal included 2 front seats for each member of the club).

If I was to give one suggestion on how to get a sponsor, it would be to work hard at makin your car stand out from all the rest, in every aspect be origonal and creative! Good Luck!

I've seen some rally events (TSD Rally is more likely unless you want to smash up your car ^_^ ) that have some sponsorship as the first prize. I don't know much about rally in down in orange county, but there's gotta be something, right?

well uh the money thing is so way not needed. me and a buddy of mine just got evo8's and well my buddy got a full ecu for free and i got a 50% off sponsor that i didnt take and we got about 7-8 more that we havent even checked right now.
#1 thing is have a relativly new car to the market evo 8 has only been out for 2-3 months so companys need thee cars to hustle their gear because they are new and popular. unfortunately the regular lancer is so common that no one wants one. just buy a new fresh car fast and call around. i also got hooked up with a free body kit, tails, and a custom paint job all for free from kaminari body kits for my last car a 2001 civic sedan that i got 1 week after they were released. didnt have to do ****. they did it all for me over 2 days and took pics for their brochurs and crap but me and the other guy. they chose the other guys car for their website.

teehee for me

Try getting a local sponsorship. It will be easier to communicate, and everytihng like that. Just be very interactive with them, and show them that you want to "work" for them.
