If it ran, you couldn't have done TOO much damage. Now if you hit it and it just dropped, that's another story...

like most of the people said f the cat. my mustang has scratch marks because my aunt lets the cats in the garage and they always climb on and sleep on and puke on it. luckily i dont live at my moms house so i get a cat free garage for my evo.

not true, I hit a deer several years ago with an 82 dodge ram van, and it "ran away" I'm sure only to go die somewhere and feed the maggots. I highly doubt it survived the hit. As far as the cat. . . . . .about how far was it when u hit it? are you a good rock thrower? I too found a cat sitting on my hoodvent , but it was my own damn cat! Along with about 5 nice long claw marks! That was the last time the cat ever went outside!
