Didnt they convert the EVO in "Tokyo Drift" to RWD so it could drift? Why would you want to do that to an EVO Its one of the finest AWD sports cars on the planet for a reason.

Ok this is why I want to do it >>>

First at where I lived the next dyno it's kind of far and since I own one (but is only for fwd or rwd) I can't used it for my evo. What I want is only to test it at my dyno without paying others for the time that I need to tunned the engine. Once I finish with it I don't want to take it out without putting all back the way it was. I'm reflashing evo's computers but the way that I'm doing it is putting my techedge wide band in the muffler and tunned it at the streets..... Basically someone at a mitsubishi here said to me that I can take out something before the back differential and make it fwd... can I do that???

thanks edy

I could be way off here but if you just simply diconnect the front axels and put it on a dyno wouldn't the center diff fry itself?

EDIT:
Ask this question in the turbo/drivetrain forum more knowledgable people in there

Well I really don't know what can cause if I take that out but I really want to know if there is something I can do to test it at my dyno. The flashes that I made so far work pretty well at the tracks but what I don't have are horsepower numbers.... there has to be something that I can do to work with it.

I really like a lot the ecuflash computer. With my engine so far I can feel the difference by changing ignition timing. Well any help will be so greatfull to me...

There was someone on here that bought an EVO with a rear wheel drive because the middle shaft was missing. I thought it was really strange. I say get the new MR comes with ACD at least you can change the power percentage to the rear.
