hey guys, well i finally received my EVO RS on saturday and let me say what a beast!!!! i cant believe the power and pull from this car. this is an amazing car. it's my first turbocharged car and i'm in love!!! i was used to toyota i grew up with corollas and i had a 99 toyota corolla that was going to receive a supercharger and few other things, and i love that car it was my first platform to work on. BUT man this new evo is awesome! i was thinking about doing a stage one upgrade but i think i might just hold off for now since i have the 5yr warranty and the respect for the car's power is also a factor in that decision.

nice i have an ix rs too. it's my second evo and i love it. i told my wife i would not mod this one but i now have 365 awhp and 382 tq. wingless is the way to go. congrats and good luck. what color did you get?

thanks guys! well i'm must have had all the stars and planets aligned in my favor because i won the car. the link in my sig shows a pic of it. unfortunately it has a huge wing and its a replica of the tokyo drift evo. but soon i'll be making it more my style and today i just did my first mod! i switched the location of my stock gauges to the radio location. man that was easy! the car had 1311 miles on it when i received the keys.

How much tax did you have to pay?

 

yeah i plan on removing the vinyls i'm debating on the apr vinyl since it's so big and all, i'm not a big bodykit nor a vinyl type of guy. i like to keep it simple and strong!! i entered the toyo tire sweepstakes and i won!

well i was told that i'll have to pay sales tax whenever i register the car here in georgia which is 7% and they will be adding approx $27,000 to my annual income this year so i'll get taxed on that. once i'll get the numbers i'll let you know lol
