My name is David. I am in the process of getting an Evo. I am still deciding to get either and Evo 8 or get an Evo 9. 5 speed or 6 speed. I'm trying to learn. I don't want to make mistake, because this car will be with me for a whiiiiiile. So help me out yo!!

The car will be mainly daily driven. I go to the track may be five times a year, and it's just 1/4 mile track. I'm hoping a well rounded daily driver and may be low 12's high 11's 1/4 mile time. Thanks

david i would go evo 8....if you want mid to low 12-high 11's i would go Buscher 20G turbo, ic piping, bigger fmic, fuel pump, injectors,3'' turboback exhaust, a good managment (aem ems). minor head work (cams,springs,retainers) ported exhaust manifold, and a clutch of course... you can stay stock turbo if you really wanted, i have a friend with this setup but stock turbo on 25-26 lbs running high 11's
