Swapping Front IX Seats...

My passenger side recaro seat is basically mint (rarely anyone sits in my car) but my driver's seat is getting the regular creases.... I was wondering if it is possible to swap the passenger seat with the driver's seat to even the sitting wear????

I doubt it: the reclining knobs would then be on the wrong sides. Also, the inside edges of my seat backs have extra covers to prevent wear from the center console; those pads would be on the wrong sides of the seats if I switched them.

If I were you I would look closely at all the parts underneath and on the sides before deciding.

At least the knobs would be easily accessable.

Why worry about it? If it ever gets really bad just buy another factory seat or upgrade to some bride's or better =)

I believe it's about $1K per seat so yeah, the "why worry about...just buy another" approach is not exactly the most cost effective.

The driver and passenger seats are actually idnentical. You can remove the adjustment knob and push the rod thru to the other side and put the knob back on.
